In honour of Black History Month, Food Services is preparing exclusive recipes for multiple events across campus.
Join us in the celebrations at the following events:

Black History Month Dinners at Dining Halls

On Monday, February 26, during dinner service, enjoy Chef Colin’s Jamaican Jerk Chicken, Rice and Peas, and Fried Plantains at Chestnut, New College, and CampusOne Dining Halls.


On Thursday, February 29, during dinner service, don’t miss Chef Daniel’s Red Red Ghana, Jollof Rice with Deep Fried Plantains at Chestnut, New College, and CampusOne Dining Halls.

21st Annual Black History Month Luncheon at Hart House

The annual Black History Month luncheon provides a platform to hear inspiring speakers, see dynamic performances and celebrate community in a welcoming space. This year’s event will return to its roots with an in-person experience and guests are invited to come and taste the delicious food, network with friends or make new ones and participate in celebrating Black Excellence.

The event will feature Food Services Chef Daniel’s Red Red Ghana, Jollof Rice with Deep Fried Plantains among other dishes.
