Three Overnight Oats Recipes

Overnight oats are a great way to prepare breakfast in advanced with no actual cooking required! This delicious breakfast always starts with the same base, and can be customized for a variety of flavour combinations. Chef Jaco shared 3 recipes for his favourite flavours with us; carrot cake, raspberry and almond butter, and mixed berry.

Overnight Oats Base Recipe

Ingredients

Instant Oats 80 g
Almond Milk (or your milk of preference) 250 ml
Greek Yogurt 100 g
Chia Seeds 18 g
Maple Syrup (adjust based on your sweetness preference) 25 ml

Instructions

  1. Combine the Instant oats, almond milk (or your milk of preference), Greek yogurt, chia seeds, and maple syrup to a resealable container or mason jar. We used a mason jar since they are reusable and are easy to take on the go.
  2. Place the mixture into the refrigerator, and enjoy the next morning!

Carrot Cake Overnight Oats Recipe

Ingredients

Overnight Oats Base
Shredded Carrots 56 g
Desiccated Coconut 14 g
Golden Raisins 56 g
Pure Vanilla Extract 5 ml
Cinnamon Powder 1 g

Instructions

  1. Prepare the overnight oats base in a resealable container or jar
  2. Add the shredded carrots, coconut, raisins (if you prefer red raisins, go ahead and grab those!), vanilla, and cinnamon powder (you can adjust this based on your taste) to the overnight oats base. Stir all to combine.
  3. Seal your container, and place into the fridge to sit overnight.

Raspberry and Almond Butter Overnight Oats Recipe

Ingredients

Overnight Oats Base
Raw Pistachios 12 g
Almond Butter 20 g
Raspberry Puree 30 g

Instructions

  1. Prepare the overnight oats base in a resealable container or jar
  2. Add the raw pistachios, almond butter (or nut butter/nut butter alternative of your choice), and raspberry purée (if you don’t like raspberry, feel free to use strawberry or blueberry!) to the overnight oats base. Stir all to combine.
  3. Seal your container, and place into the fridge to sit overnight.

Mixed Berry Overnight Oats Recipe

Ingredients

Overnight Oats Base
Diced Strawberries 56 g
Fresh Raspberries 28 g
Fresh Blueberries 28 g
Almond Slivers 14 g
Pure Vanilla Extract 5 ml

Instructions

  1. Prepare the overnight oats base in a resealable container or jar
  2. Add the raw pistachios, almond butter (or nut butter/nut butter alternative of your choice), and raspberry purée (if you don’t like raspberry, feel free to use strawberry or blueberry!) to the overnight oats base. Stir all to combine.
  3. Seal your container, and place into the fridge to sit overnight.
